LOS ANGELES, Mar 14, 2008 / FW/ — If there is a collection that is so aptly named, Falguni & Shane Peacock is. From start to finish, every item, every exit, every look is an unconventional combination of prints and colors (similar in effect to the real peacock) that surprisingly worked.

From animal prints to lava flow stripes, Falguni & Shane Peacock did not hold back in this collection of draped gowns, shift dresses and kaftans that featured diamante encrustations and peacock feathers as decorative details. And like the label’s name, a woman has to be a peacock to pull this off.

LOS ANGELES, Mar 16, 2008 / FW/ — A star studded affair with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs  and Lydia Hearst sitting front row, Robin Antin’s newest venture Pussycat Dolls made its debut on the Los Angeles runway with a show that rivaled Frederic’s of Hollywood in terms of sexiness.

A performance by PCD, and dancers / models playing musical chairs, Pussycat Dolls did a proper close to the Los Angeles season that had been characterized by celebrity appearances.
